We undertook a significant renovation of an 1880s historic house with Seth Wyga and Centrix, which included underpinning the existing house with a proper foundation and basement (the original foundation was rubble), and building a two-story addition at the back of the house. Working with Seth and Centrix was an excellent experience, and we give them our highest-possible recommendation. Centrix and Seth have the technical skills, knowledge and experience to undertake such a major renovation. Equally important, is that Seth is an excellent communicator. He always ensured that we understood clearly every step of the process and the build. He also made sure that he understood us: our questions, our concerns, and our vision for the project. It was very much a collaborative process, and the quality of Seth's insight and input ensured that everything unfolded in the best possible way. Working with Seth was like working with a trusted friend. All of the Centrix staff, as well as the trades and sub-trades, who worked on the site were professional and cared about the integrity of our house. The quality of workmanship was exceptional. The project budget provided to us before the actual work began was realistic, and adhered to during the build. The monthly invoicing was clear, and showed how the project was progressing with respect to the budget. We would happily work with Seth and Centrix again, and have already recommended them to friends and family.Read More
